On June 17, 2009, the St Agatha School community gathered to dedicate and bless the bench and garden in memory of Julie Callahan, a Second Grade teacher who died in 2008. St Agatha students raised money to purchase the bench

Samantha Woodbury

I have been attending St. Agatha School since kindergarten.
I have made wonderful friends and have gained a knowledge that I will be able to carry with me as I embark on my high school years at Notre Dame Academy. My experience at St. Agatha School has been something I will always cherish.
I have had inspiring teachers whose lessons of educational value will guide me through high school and the rest of my life. I am very excited to be going to a Catholic high school because I know I will be prepared after my years at St. Agatha’s.
I have met many wonderful teachers through my years at St. Agatha School. They have shown me how to live as Jesus would want me to.
One very special person who showed me this example was Julie Callahan. She was one person who always knew the right thing to do and lived as an example to others. I always looked up to Miss. Callahan whenever I needed anything. Miss. Callahan always taught me to follow my dreams and to do the best I can. Living out the Christian values I have gained from St. Agatha School is the best I can do.
I have grown a lot during my years at St. Agatha School. One of the main examples of my growth at St. Agatha School is how I have grown in my faith. I have learned how to share my Christian values with others, such as helping people at Fr. Bill’s Place. I have also helped the children at school with crafts and reading. I want to continue living as this good example for many people, just as Miss. Callahan did. She is always remembered for living as a follower of Jesus; that is what I want to be remembered by as well.
In conclusion, I am very grateful for the teachers I have met at St. Agatha School that have helped me grow spiritually. The teachers at St. Agatha School have prepared me for a high school education influenced by Jesus.
