Countries Around the World

Room 1C

“Countries Around the World” is a Social Studies project that 1C has been working on for the past week and a half.  The students worked in groups to research a specific country and record interesting facts about each one, including capital city, population, weather, special holidays, animals, etc.  Each student wrote a five sentence paragraph about the country and located it on a world map.  Once they finished their individual books, the groups presented the country to the class.
