Jessica Curry, Kylie Hernon, and Meghan Stravin, from the fourth grade, coordinated a book drive for Children’s Hospital. Thanks to the generous contributions from the St Agatha Community, they ended up delivering over 15 boxes of books.
Here are some of the feelings of these young ladies:
“We thought it would be a good opportunity to help out the sick children.”
“We want them to show progress in their reading skills like we do at school.”
“We want them to be active readers.”
“We want to represent and benefit out school to show that we are active in our Catholic community.”
“We thought it was a good idea to give back to children that aren’t as lucky as we are.”
