Government Day
Government Day
The Class of 2014 visited the Massachusetts State House as part of Government Day. This event has been hosted by Al Thomas for the past 33 years. Rep. Walter Timilty and his staff gave the students a tour of the State House as well as a visit to the House of Representatives. This was followed by a luncheon at the Quincy Neighborhood Club where Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey addressed the students.

New York City - May 12

The students departed the parking lot at 5AM for the bus trip to New York City. The day began with a tour of the The Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum followed by a 1-hour Circle Line Tour of New York harbor, including a close look at the Statue of Liberty. Then it was on to the top of the Empire State Building for a panoramic view of New York. From there a trip to St Patrick's Cathedral. The Cathedral is undergoing a major renovation.This was followed by a shopping trip to Times Square and dinner at Carmines Italian restaurant. We arrived home at 1:15AM.
