Day 2 |
| Rain caused a complete change in the itinerary for Day 2. First stop: the Jefferson Memorial, followed by a visit to the Martin Luther King Memorial. After a trip through Embassy Row, we headed to the National Air & Space Museum. Then it was off to the Holocaust Memorial Museum followed by a visit to the The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. Next stop:
John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. We finished the day with a dinner dance cruise along the Potomac on the Spirit of Washington.
