This past October, we celebrated the healing power of the Spirit of Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of the Sick. In the context of Mass, Fr. Palardy, Fr. Makos, Fr. McLaughlin and Fr. Powers, laid hands on those seriously and/or chronically ill and those preparing for or recovering from surgery and anoint them with the Oil of the Sick which was blessed by Cardinal O’Malley on Tuesday of Holy Week. A luncheon followed in our Gathering Space. |

2018 Archdiocese of Boston CYO Basketball Champions
|
|
On Sunday March 11, St Agatha's 7th & 8th grade boys team defeated St. Raphael of Medford to win the 2018 Archdiocese of Boston CYO Basketball Championship. The score was 61-58; the game was played at Catholic Memorial HS in West Roxbury. To reach the championship game, St. Agatha defeated St. Peter of Cambridge and St. Edward of Medfield. With the win, St. Agatha earned an invitation to compete in the New England CYO Championship, to be held April 6-8, 2018 in Bridgeport, CT. In February, the team also won the Boston-South Shore Vicariate Championship, defeating St. Vincent (South Boston) in the final. |
On Sunday November 19th at the Milton Interfaith
Thanksgiving Service held at St. Elizabeth
Church, one representative from each of
the various houses of worship in town was recognized
with “Thanks for Giving.” Pat Clasby was the St. Agatha recipient. |

Pat Clasby is a beautiful combination of Martha and Mary. Like Mary, she spends time at the feet of the Jesus participating at Mass every day, involved in the prayer life of the parish, and serving as a Minister of Holy Communion. Like Martha, Pat is hospitable to her core, serving as a volunteer at Faith Formation sessions for our children, working at the Parish Bingo, and as head of our Hospitality Team serving meals at many parish functions. When there is any need to be met, or work to be done, no matter how menial, Pat is ever eager to serve. |
