| Mr. McLaughlin is very excited to announce that the 7th grade has successfully completed the “One Beard, One Mission” fundraiser. Led by the intrepid team of Thamara Aridou, Shannon Cloherty, Maddie McBride, Kitty Walsh, and Lauren White, the 7th graders raised almost $600 towards purchasing a classroom set of graphing calculators. Mr. McLaughlin is incredibly proud of their initiative, hard work, and dedication to their school. Thanks to all of you who bought a cookie or a raffle ticket; we’re so excited about the new calculators and what they will bring to math and science education at SAS! |

| From the coaches: "What a great season! It was a long, fun run, which showed commitment from both the girls and their families. Our team won 15 games in a row. We should all be very proud of our achievement. We are the first team at St Agatha's to make it to the New England CYO tournament. You have all improved as players and understand what it means to be a team. One person can't do it all. It takes a team effort, which we exemplified all season long. Today we came back from being down 12 points at the half. Tom and I are proud of the effort of all of the girls. You learned a valuable lesson today, "Never give up!"" |
