Thursday,
June 17th was the last day of school. Many students
who will be joining us in September came to school
on the last day to meet their new classmates and teachers.

We
will be welcoming many new students to St. Agatha
School this September. It can be difficult for new
students. One of our current students, Aileen Farrell,
shared her experiences as a new student to St. Agatha
this past September.
Several
sixth grade students and 2 seventh grade students
had their poetry selected to be published in a book
of poetry called Creative Communications.
On
Wednesday, June 16th, we welcomed some of our incoming
Kindergarteners. First day of school for Kindergarten
will be September 13th, with early dismissal on Monday,
Tuesday and Wednesday.

Our
very own Mrs. Michelle Tierney was a recipient of
“The Light of The World” award at a special
ceremony held by The Office for the New Evangelization
of Youth and Young Adults of the Archdiocese of Boston.
St.
Agatha School raises $800 for La Escuelita de Esperanza,
an after-school arts and literacy program in a community
of impoverished Nicaraguan immigrants in San José,
Costa Rica.
Our
4th Grade students presented a check to Miss Massachusetts,
Amanda Kelly, on behalf of the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Click

Agatha Parish celebrated the beginning of Catholic
Schools Week with the 9AM Mass on Sunday, January
31st. Cornelius Koch, one of our 7th Grade students
